Heatherdale Cricket Club is well known for it's immensely strong junior program. No club is successful unless it has a committed and dedicated junior program with the sole focus of creating enjoyment amongst boys and girls in a safe environment allowing players to connect and develop as cricketers and as people.
In Season 2020-21, Heatherdale fielded the most junior teams in its Club history - with 23 junior teams. This is a very big operation, with the Club operating 7 days a week to provide training and match day facilities and around a volunteer base of more than 80 people to help deliver the best outcomes for our future.
Heatherdale has a proud history of seeing many junior boys and girls go onto higher honours representing their associations, regions and even participating in Premier Cricket within Victoria. Junior cricket at Heatherdale is the lifeblood of our success and we will continue to deliver the best opportunities available for our future kids to shine.
Looking ahead to Season 2021-22
Pre-Season Training will commence from Saturday 4th / Sunday 5th September outdoors at our home Heatherdale Reserve. We will continue doing this on weekends until the weekend of 2nd / 3rd October before we move into mid-week sessions after daylight savings commences. For full training schedules, please view the table below.
Full registrations are now open and there is an early-bird discount for members who sign up before 1st September 2021. To register click any of the images below to register your son and/or daughter with Heatherdale Cricket Club
The Club is also extremely pleased to announce its partnership with indoor sports centre Saxon Sports, a Club partner, to help with a 6-week junior development program aimed at delivering the best coaching advice possible to our future stars.
Held every Saturday from 12.00pm - 2.00pm, from 24th July, parents will need to book prior to each Saturday session. But hurry, there are only 20 spots per each one hour session per week and this is first in best dressed. It is being fully funded by HCC, so it is imperative that when you book your session for your son or daughter, that they do indeed attend. To book visit our link here
